2. Nathaniel5 Folsom (Nathaniel4, Israel3, Samuel2, John1)was born in Rowan County, NC May 17, 1756. Nathaniel died October 9, 1833 at Mountain Fork, Indian Territory. Nathaniel married two Choctaw princesses at about the same time. Nathaniel married I-Ah-Ne-Cha and Ai-Ne-Chi-Hoyo. By these two sisters, Nathaniel had 24 children, 14 of them living to adulthood. Note: I have not been able to locate a list of all the children in this family, and I make no claims as to the accuracy of my information as it appears here. It is information I have gathered on the internet and much of it is not documented; and I am not sure it is all correct. If you can furnish knowledge and documentation for any persons listed here, I will be most happy to correct them. Nathaniel and I-Ah-Ne-Cha had the following children: 1. i. David Folsom b. Jan. 25, 1791 in Bok Tuklo, Miss; married twice, he m. Rhoda Nail, he m. Jane Hall. He sired 13 children. 2. ii. George6 Folsom, b. abt.1807, d. 1887, at the age of 80 years; m. Eliza Hays, had two sons who died young, and one daughter who died soon after marriage; was Cumberland Presbyterian preacher, Governor of Choctaw Nation. The only blacksmith ever recorded in Choctaw Nation. 3. iii. (Capt.) Robert Folsom, one of those sent by the U.S. Government to look over Indian Territory as a place to which the Choctaws were to move; Robert had several children, of whom two daughters married into the Perkins family. 4. iv. Bryan County, OK. Farmer, stock raiser, he had 18 children by two
marriages; m. Anna Homes, daughter of John Holmes and Nancy Hancock.
Anna d. December 4, 1807; m. Anna McIntosh, a Creek Indian. b. Louise Folsom, b. January 7, 1832; c. December 12, 1885. c. Josiah Folsom, b. d. William Folsom, b. November 27, 1841, died in infancy, 1844. e. Cornelius Folsom, b. August 9, 1844. f. Lucy Ann Folsom, b. February 17, 1846, d. February 20, 1866. g. Alfred W. Folsom, m. Levina C. Colbert, had 12 children, all deceased by 1915 except Louis L., Maude, and Ava (who married W.M. Travis). He distinguished himself in several battles of Civil War. After which he was farmer, stock raiser near Armstrong Academy. h. unknown... 5. v. John Folsom, b.
abt. 1802 ; d. 1864, near Bennington, OK; m. twice. He m. unknown, he m. Monette
Durant, daughter of Pierre Durant. John had 13 children from both marriages, incl.
, and John also had John, Jr.
John was the third son of Nathaniel to preach as a Cumberland

had the following children: 12. ii. (Col.) Isaac Folsom, m. Susan Underwood, had eight children. Served as delegate for his people in Washington before and after Civil War. His son, Col. Sampson Folsom, had the honor of raising the first battalion of Choctaws to serve the Confederacy, and he was a Colonel of a regiment of Choctaws under the command of General Albert Pike. 13. iii. unknown 14. iv. manhood, d. December 17, 1909 at Bokchito, OK..
Louisa (2) m. again, Mr. Cocknauer, had son, She (3) m. Robert Nail, no children. Louisa and Mr. Cocknauer had the following child: 15. v. Jerry Folsom, b. unknown; had son Jacob,
leading man of Choctaw Nation who married a Miss Nail. From this
marriage Jacob had J. Jerry
also had son Daniel who married Sina Nail, by whom he had six children. 16. vi. Malina Folsom was born July 27, 1836, d. December 11, 1905 in Bokchito, buried in Bokchito Cemetery, Bryan County. She married (1) Caleb Impson, son of Isaac Impson and Nancy.. He was b. Unknown, d. February 14, 1877. She m.(2) Middleton Mackey, son of David Mackey. She married (3) John W. Freeney, son of Robert Freeney and Sarah Ellis He was b. December 18, 1841, d. March 08, 1895 ;buried in Impson Cemetery, Bryan County. She married (4) Elum Mackey. Malina Folsom and
Caleb Impson had the following children: Children

and John Freeney is: 17. vii. Adam6 Folsom, settled in what is now
Atoka County, where his descendants live. 18. viii. Molly Folsom, m. a Mitchell. 19. ix. Elizabeth Folsom, m. Mr. Harris. 20. x. Emily Folsom m. Emziah Robinson, and was the mother of Revered Calvin Robinson, noted as a preacher... she has many descendants in Oklahoma. 21. xi. Rhoda Folsom m. Chief Peter P. Pitchlynn, son of Major John Pitchlynn, an Englishman. Peter graduated Nashville University, they had several children. 22. xii. Lucretia Folsom m. Noah Wall. Lucretia and Noah Wall had

Elizabeth and Joseph had the following child: 23. xiii. unknown 24. xiv. McKee Folsom, b. in Mississippi. He
lived in Red River, Choctaw Nation, died there before 1864; m., had ten
children. McKee also wrote a Choctaw dictionary so he could preach in both
English and Choctaw languages. One grandson of this old preacher is
William (9) Lea Folsom of Stigler, OK (in 1915).
