1825:   Aurellia McClure, orphan of Alexander McClure (Joseph Paxton appointed guardian). Other children: Eliza Jane, Mary Ann, Phebe, Turza, William P., and Zelia Evaline McClure [19 Dec 1825] Barren Co. KY. 

1825:   Elizabeth McClure died [c. 1825] in Barren Co. KY. Joseph Paxton was named administrator. [This is probably the Betsy Paxton who married Alexander McClure (17 Nov 1808) in Rockbridge Co. VA] 

1827:   Manley McClure married Sarah Pitchford [20 Aug 1827] in Allen Co. KY. 

1830:   Pleasant McClure married Eliza Cowden [13 Jun 1830] in Allen Co. KY. 

1830:   Pleasant McClure witnessed the Will of Elijah Blankenship [ 11 Nov 1830] in Allen Co. KY. 

1835:   Pleasant McClure called as court witness for Bowling F. Finch in Allen Co. KY. 

1836:   Manley & Pleasant McClure hired as hands to cut road for Daniel & Orange Pitchford, Allen Co. KY. 

1840:   Census: Pleasant McClure and family living in Allen Co. KY. 

1840: Will of John King places property line near “McClure” “Sandy Bottom” Barren Co. KY. 

1850:   Census: Pleasant and Manley McClure living next door to one another in Barren Co. KY. 

1856:   About 1856, Pleasant McClure and family left KY and settled in Webster Co. MO. 

1860:   Census: Pleasant McClure family found living in Webster Co. MO.  Manley not found on Barren or Allen Counties’ census. 

1880:   Census: Pleasant McClure and family living in Webster Co. MO.  He says his father was born in PA, mother born in KY. 

1886:   Pleasant McClure died in Webster Co. MO.
